Miho Bean

Associate Director of Admissions

Miho first joined the UNH Manchester community as an admissions counselor in 1998 and in 2003 was appointed Associate Director of Admissions.  She brought with her many highly skilled qualities that make her an effective and respected supervisor/manager.  She is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the admissions office as well as working closely other departments within UNHM.  In addition Miho and her staff have a close working relationship with the Durham campus admissions staff.  Miho received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maine at Farmington and her graduate degree from Plymouth State University.  Miho and her husband live in the Manchester area and enjoy spending time with their two young children and two German Shepherds.

Derek Johnson

Assistant Director of Admissions

Derek graduated from the University of Maine at Machias in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Derek played professional basketball in Europe for five years and returned to his Alma Mater in 1996 as Coach and Admissions Counselor. He joined the UNH Manchester Admissions office in 2002 where he is primarily responsible for traditional and non traditional recruitment. Derek developed and coordinates the UNH Manchester Student Ambassador Program.

Donna Lukasiak

Senior Assistant Director of Admissions

Donna came to UNH Manchester 1998. Prior to this, she was an outreach counselor for Educational Talent Search, one of the federally funded TRIO programs working with local high school students to fulfill career and higher education goals. As Senior Assistant Director, Donna is responsible for managing the daily operations of the UNH Manchester Admissions Office. Of all her responsibilities, Donna finds the interaction with students and families to be the most rewarding. She lives in Henniker with her husband, college-age son, and daughter. She enjoys sports, gardening, reading and spending time with family.

Susan Miller

Administrative Assistant

Sue joined UNH Manchester's Office of Admissions in 1994 as the front line person in Admissions. She is responsible for all phone, web and walk-in inquiries and helps coordinate on-campus admissions events, high school visit schedules, and appointment calendars for three counselors. Putting her own two children through college along with her UNH Manchester experience has provided Sue with first hand knowledge and gives her valuable insights to help college bound students and their families through the admissions process, something she particularly enjoys. She and her husband enjoy their country home and lots of family time with their two married children and two beautiful grandchildren.

Jane Schoenfeld

Information Support Assistant

Jane has worked in higher education since 1994, joining UNH Manchester in 1998. Jane brings a unique understanding of the admissions process because of her experience in higher education and the fact that she is a degree candidate herself. Currently Jane is responsible for processing all applications for admission to UNH Manchester. Once admitted, Jane compiles materials for enrollment and coordinates a seamless transition from admissions to other college departments. Jane has two adult children and a grandson. She enjoys scrap booking and reading. Jane has continued her education while at UNH Manchester earning her associate in arts degree in 2007 with plans to continue in a baccalaureate degree program.

Deborah Bisson-Devost

Office Assistant

Deborah joined the admissions staff as Office Assistant in July 2007 after an 18 year career in the health care field. She is an alumnus of UNH with a Bachelor of Science in Family Services. Deborah lives in Concord with her husband and two daughters. Family and spending time with them is very important to her. Deborah enjoys watching her oldest daughter run college cross country, reading and spending time at the ocean.
