Future Ceremony Dates
Thursday, May 20, 2010
Thursday, May 19, 2011
Location
The ceremony is held at the Center of New Hampshire, Radisson Hotel on Elm Street in Manchester.
Eligibility to Graduate
There are three graduations every academic year for undergraduate and graduate students: September, December, and May.
The annual commencement ceremony is held in May. Students who have completed their degree requirements in the preceding September and December, in May, or the following September are invited to participate in commencement ceremonies in May. Graduate students must complete at least half of their courses on the Manchester campus to participate in the UNH Manchester commencement ceremony.
Anyone who thinks they are ready to graduate needs to complete an intent-to-graduate form at the beginning of the semester you expect to graduate in. Undergraduate students may do this with the Academic Counseling Office. Graduate students may fill out a form online at MyUNH.
When will we receive information about commencement?
The Registration Office mails commencement information to eligible students in mid-March.
When is the website updated?
The commencement web pages will be updated in mid-January.
Cap & Gown
Undergraduate students may purchase their UNH cap & gown at the UNH Manchester bookstore. Graduate students are responsible for ordering their cap, gown and hood from University Cap & Gown.
Guest Tickets
Graduating students are each given five guest tickets after they submit their completed commencement participation form which will be mailed in March. Students may request additional tickets a few weeks prior to the ceremony.
Students or Guests with Special Needs
The commencement participation form has a space where you can provide information regarding special accommodations for you or your guests. Please contact us at least 2 weeks prior to the ceremony so we can best assist you. UNH Security Officers and ushers will be available during the ceremony to offer additional assistance.
Diplomas
