Location

The ceremony will be held in the expo room at the Center of New Hampshire, Radisson Hotel located at 700 Elm Street in Manchester, NH.

Event Schedule

3:00 p.m. Graduating students meet in Salon A at the Center of NH to begin lining up
3:00 p.m. General seating begins for guests in the Expo Center
3:15 p.m. Faculty and Platform Party meet in Salon D, first floor
4:00 p.m. Procession begins
4:15 p.m. Ceremony begins
6:30 p.m. Ceremony ends (estimate)

Assembly

On Thursday, May 21, candidates and faculty should assemble in Salon D on the first floor at the Center of NH, Radisson, by 3:15 p.m. Please bring your regalia with you. Commencement ushers will assist with questions and directions.

Residential and adjunct faculty (undergraduate and graduate) members are reminded to please contact Ellen Ruggles to confirm attendance or participation by Friday, April 24th.

Caps & Gowns

Academic regalia may be purchased or rented from the University Cap & Gown Company. Please complete the regalia and registration form and return it to Ellen Ruggles by April 24th.

From UNH Manchester:
Take a right when leaving the UNH Manchester parking lot. Follow Commercial Street about one mile to Granite Street (Bus Terminal is on your left). Go left on Granite Street and the hotel garage will be on your left.

Parking

Parking is available at the Center of New Hampshire Garage. The entrances are on Granite Street and West Central Street. Bring your parking ticket inside for validation (discounted rates apply).

Seating

Reserved seating is available for faculty members who are unable or prefer not to participate in the procession. It's not necessary for faculty seated in this area to wear regalia. Please contact Ellen Ruggles by April 24th if you wish to request tickets for you or family members in the reserved seating area.

Faculty who arrive late for the procession cannot be guaranteed seating at the stage and may be directed to the general seating area.

Attention Graduate Faculty

Graduate hooding ceremonies will be held separately. Please contact the Center for Graduate and Professional Studies for a schedule, 603-641-4313.

Dates to Remember

• Friday, April 24th: Deadline to order academic regalia and confirm participation in commencement
• Thursday, May 21st: Please meet in Salon D at the Center of NH by 3:15 p.m.
