Undergraduate Research And Study Abroad

As a major research university, UNH provides all students with unique and valuable opportunities to conduct research and study abroad during their undergraduate years. In addition to the programs and resources available on UNH's main campus in Durham, UNH Manchester supports students in a variety of ways.
Undergraduate Research
Undergraduate students may explore their research interests through the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) including Undergraduate Research Awards (URA), Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships (SURFs). These programs are coordinated by the Hamel Center for Undergraduate Research on the Durham Campus. UNH Durham and Manchester students participate in the same programs and use the same application and application procedures.

Study Abroad
From Italy to South Africa, New Zealand to Jordan, growing numbers of UNH Manchester students are learning first hand about other cultures. Center for International Education housed on the Durham campus will provide you with the direction and expertise you need to arrange for an exciting summer, semester or year of study abroad, either through UNH's own programs or through UNH-approved programs sponsored by other providers.
