Degree Programs

Students who choose UNH's urban campus find a unique learning laboratory. Guided by program faculty and other mentors, students develop knowledge in specialized fields of study along with an understanding of contemporary urban issues. Students enhance their classroom experience through internships, independent study, service learning and research. Students earn a respected UNH degree, gain an understanding of the world and develop skills that are valued by the academic community and employers. In addition to a major degree program of study, students can expand their knowledge base and skills through a minor concentration. All degree candidates gain a breadth of intellectual, social and cultural awareness through the University's general education requirements.

Students enjoy personal enrichment while developing skills to prepare for entry-level employment or professional or graduate education or to advance an established career. Flexible scheduling and alternative course delivery models make it possible for students to complete degree requirements at their convenience on a full-time (12 credits or more) or part-time basis.
