The First Year Experience is a year-long series of activities that begins at orientation. Students participate in workshops, student activities, research opportunities and community conversations designed to support first-year students' transitions to the college environment.

Students learn what it means to do university-level academic work, how to use the college's academic resources and how to get involved in curricular and co-curricular opportunities on campus and in our urban laboratory - the City of Manchester. Through participation FYE, students develop essential academic and life skills as well has have some fun and meet new friends.
