Welcome to UNH Manchester, the university's urban campus.

UNH's urban college serves people who live and work in the Merrimack Valley and the state’s southern tier.

  • UNH Manchester was established in 1985 as the 6th college of the University of New Hampshire, which is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc. and is a part of the University System of New Hampshire.
  • UNH Manchester has the same admission, general education and graduation requirements as the main, residential campus in Durham.
  • UNH Manchester delivers university resources to the region's center of business, finance, government and industry.
  • The student body comprises a unique mix of traditional-age and older commuter students which reflects the Merrimack Valley's rich ethnic, economic and cultural diversity.
  • Innovative, interdisciplinary and practical liberal arts and applied programs reflect the college's urban mission and proactive response to the needs of area business and industry.
  • The campus includes the main building, University Center, at 400 Commercial Street and the fourth floor at 286 Commercial Street in Manchester's historic millyard.
  • The UNH Manchester library collection includes 30,000+ print volumes and 2,500 films with access to 23,000 electronic journals.
